When we turn on the TV, or go online we always see people doing great things.  We see actors and actresses making cool movies.  We see singers and bands writing catchy songs.  We see YouTubers making sweet videos.  We see business men and woman growing companies.  And we see people giving to charity, and making a difference in this world.  And then we think to ourselves, “I wish that was me.  I want to be successful.  I want to make a difference.  But how can I do that?”  Well we have to change the way we think.

BroWhy is working on a new song, “Old Man Son.”  Sometimes we get stuck in our ways.  BroWhy calls this being an Old Man.  Old men are stubborn, unwilling to admit they may be wrong, and unwilling to change.  The song is not about an old man in age.  Anyone that has stopped growing, stopped doing the best they can, or has stopped trying and has gotten comfortable in their everyday life can be an old man or old woman.  The song is about the young version of themselves trying to motivate and inspire the old man to become young again.  We all have an old man or woman inside of us.  But let’s become young again.

It’s not too late, we can all make a difference in this world.  We can all accomplish our dreams and be successful.  It’s not gonna be easy.  It’s not gonna happen over night.  But we can all say goodbye to the old man and woman in our lives and say hello to the young, successful and happy version of ourselves that never wants to settle sown and is always striving to grow and be the best person we can be.
